Peak brings together Peak Trailer Group and Peak Wrecker under one unified brand, offering commercial trailers, truck bodies, towing, recovery equipment, and the support services that keep equipment working.
While each division specializes in its own area of expertise, both operate with the same commitment to customer satisfaction, employee excellence, and dependable support long after the sale.
Peak's roots run deep in the commercial equipment industry.
Our Dallas and San Antonio locations were established in 1970 and 1971, originally operating as Hobbs Trailers before becoming Fruehauf Trailer Services in 1985. In 1997, the business was acquired by Wabash National Corporation, North America's leading producer of semi-trailers and liquid transport systems, further strengthening our foundation in the industry.
In 2017, the organization became Peak Trailer Group, marking a new chapter focused on growth and expanded customer support. By 2019, Peak added a full-service location in El Paso and expanded its trailer offerings with Transcraft, Reitnouer, Durahaul, and Trail-Eze. In 2021, Peak broadened its capabilities again by adding truck body partners including Wil-Ro, Godwin, Galion, Galfab, Stahl, Arbor Tech, and Curbtender.
As part of that continued growth, Peak Wrecker, operating from San Antonio, became a dedicated division focused on heavy-duty towing and recovery solutions. As a proud distributor of Miller Industries products, including Century, Vulcan, and Holmes, Peak Wrecker supports recovery equipment sales, upfitting, fabrication, paint services, and parts through a specialized team and facility.
Throughout every stage of growth, one thing has remained unchanged: our commitment to our customers. Our facilities, inventory, and employee expertise give us the capacity to support equipment sales, parts, repair, and maintenance long after delivery.
At Peak, we believe taking care of our customers starts with taking care of our employees. Recognizing and rewarding effort is a core part of our mission, and we are committed to providing meaningful benefits, training, and advancement opportunities that help our team grow.
When our people succeed, our customers do too.
